ABSTRACT
Premature rupture of membranes is the discharge of the placenta from the vagina before labor takes place. Causes can be due to cervical icompetensia, increased intrauterine pressure, abnormal location of the fetus and uterus, possibly narrowing of the rollers. Clinical symptoms can include the discharge of amniotic fluid seeping through the vagina, the smell of amniotic fluid that smells fishy and does not smell like urine, the flow does not flow profusely. The complications that can be caused are preterm labor, mother and child infections, hypoxia and asphyxia. Treatment that can be given to patients is to provide pharmacological drugs according to the doctor's advice.
From the results of the examination I did on February 22, 2020 at Mrs. F on physical examination, you can see vaginal discharge. The patient was diagnosed with ruptured membranes. Based on the results of the examination of Mrs. F was given the action according to the doctor's advice.
So the care given to Mrs. "F" G1P0000 UK 37-38 weeks, T / H / I fetus with head presentation in good condition with PROM mothers between theory and implementation is appropriate.
